Oath of Service
As a member of the Peacekeepers I promise to uphold the laws as ordained by the High Council. I will defend and protect those who are willing to abide by such laws. I will strive to bring peace to all systems if possible. When required I will use only the force necessary to subdue an adversary. If at all possible I will use non-lethal force to attain my goals. If such force is inadequate then with great reluctance I shall use whatever force necessary to accomplish the protection of the greater peace. I shall protect the High Council first, the general population next, my ship and shipmates and finally myself. If I am to die in the service of restoring peace it is to a better place I go. I fight so that I may restore peace.

With the notable exception of the SDS, all spacecraft aboard the command carrier follow the orders of the Commander Carrier Spatial Group (CCSG) who in turn follows the orders of the Captain. The CCSG is aware of the presence of the 14th Squadron but has no operational control over its deployment or its specific missions.
